Frame grates are used on catch basins with an open top. Typically, a slotted or perforated metal grate is set into the top of the drop inlet to bring it to ground level to allow water to enter into the structure.
During a heavy rain storm, water drains from the surface area into the grate openings of the drop inlet.
Covers are used on manholes, septic tanks, cisterns, pump stations, or any structure that requires access but must be enclosed (for safety, to control odor, etc.)
Contact us to discuss your projects throughout New Hampshire, Maine and Northern Massachusetts that require frame grates and covers, and discover the A.J. Foss difference for yourself.
